Amazon Releases New C++ Friendly Features
AWS (Amazon Web Service) has announced that they have opened up their serverless language support. This allows developers to bring their preferred coding language to AWS Lambda.
AWS is starting to make Rust and C++ runtimes available, and they are working with affiliates to create more open sourced runtimes. This includes Elixer (Alert Logic), Erlang (Alert Logic), PHP (Stackery), Cobol (Blu Age), and N|Solid (Node Source).
Amazon’s CTO Werner Vogels said that this offering was made in response to the customers who wanted their own favorite language. Their goal was to make sure that AWS was not restricting them.
The announcement was divided into two parts. Vogels and the AWS team had announced two new features that are aimed at making custom c++ development services easier.
Lambda Layers is a platform where developers can centrally manage data and code that’s shared through multiple functions. The second feature, Lambda Runtime API, is a basic interface to use for any programming language or a certain language version for making and developing functions.
Based on Vogel’s public statements, both features can be used simultaneously. The run times can be used as layers so that developers can use them and select their favorite coding language when making Lambda functions.

Why Learn C++?
Want to know why developers are flocking towards C++? Here are a few reasons why.
- C++ is a portable language and is usually the standard for multi-platform, multi-device development.
- C++ is object-oriented, meaning that it includes inheritance, polymorphism, classes, encapsulation, and data abstraction.
- C++ has a good function library.
- C++ is an efficient, fast, and powerful language. It can be used for a wide range of applications - from 3D graphics for games, real-time mathematical simulations, and GUI applications.
While C++ may have a steep learning curve, the rewards are worth the time and dedication. After a few months of studying, you’ll be able to create some custom c++ development services. There are also software development services that continue to offer benefits for enterprises, based on their business objectives.
With AWS’ new features, C++ developers will find it easier to operate on their platform. As a result, they’ll find it easier to deploy apps, finish projects, and receive assistance on coding issues along the way.
AWS Well Architectured Tool
Based on the five pillars that Vogels stated would encapsulate a “set of strategies that are the best practices for architectural systems on the cloud” -- security, reliability, operational excellence, cost optimization, and performance efficiency -- AWS has announced the new AWS Well Architectured Tool.
The AWS Well Architectured Tool is a tool that’s designed to help architects review their different workloads at any time, without the need of an AWS solutions architect. Thus, making coders more effective at solving problems and creating new code.
Conclusion
Thanks to custom c++ development services, its easier for people to code and develop complex applications. And with AWS’ new features, you’ll find it easier to get complete these projects even faster. In the future, we hope that these new features help with making better apps for society.
